Terms of service

What this is
Inksong is a service that rewrites AI-generated text to read like the person who hired it. By using Inksong you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password and API key private. Tell us at hello@inksong.app if you suspect either has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Don't use Inksong to:
- Submit content you don't have the rights to.
- Generate disinformation, harassment, or fraudulent content.
- Circumvent academic integrity policies you've agreed to.
- Violate applicable law in your jurisdiction.
- Attack, scrape, or attempt to break the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Content ownership
You own everything you upload and everything Inksong returns to you. We claim no rights to your content. We hold a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the service (run it through Claude, store the output, return it to you).
Service availability
We try to keep Inksong running smoothly but make no uptime guarantee. Free-tier usage has stricter rate limits than paid tiers. We may pause or remove features at any time, with reasonable notice for paid plans.
Billing
Free plans are usage-capped. Paid plans (when available) renew monthly or annually. Refund requests within 7 days of a charge will be honored without question. After 7 days, refunds are case-by-case.
Liability
Inksong is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or data — arising from use of the service. Total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months (or $0 for free-tier users).
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
